Executive Designs is an independently owned and operated residential interior decorating firm offering a full range of interior decorating services. Principal owner, Laurie Minerva, is an affiliate member of the Interior Design Society. She is dedicated to providing her clients with exceptional service from initial consultation to completion of the project. Executive Designs will work within your budget, while addressing your needs and personal tastes, to create a home that is uniquely yours.
Their projects include residential interior design and remodeling for clients and properties (homes) throughout the U.S. Recently, Executive Designs received a national award for Professional Remodelers “The Best of the Best Gold Design Award” for a whole house remodel under $250,000. Executive Designs collaborated with The Lykos Group to renovate the 1970's era Naples, Florida home. Laurie redesigned the floor plan to create an improved traffic flow and maximize the square footage in the kitchen and family room area to meet the needs of a modern young family. She also chose and designed all of the interior and exterior materials and finishes for the remodel, as well as all of the furnishings. Her ability to work successfully with homeowners, builders and remodelers has resulted in a business that has grown quickly and her work has been featured in many publications.
The decorating firm carries a discerning selection of unique furniture, art and accessory lines. In addition to exceptional products, Executive Designs has developed partnerships with highly skilled and dependable artisians and trades people who provide exceptional services for clients. Laurie represents her clients during each stage of the project, ensuring that all workers, contractors and suppliers are working in her client's best interest.
While attending college and graduate school to complete her Master's Degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Public Health, Laurie also studied art and interior design. Prior to launching Executive Designs in 2002, Laurie had 25 years of experience in nursing, administration, program development, grant writing and management before she decided to unite her business accumen with her true passion for interior design. Originally from New York, Laurie started Bella Casa Interiors in Columbus, Ohio and had a successful business there before founding Executive Designs in Southwest Florida.
Laurie enjoys working with the many disciplines necessary to create exceptional homes. She successfully merges her education, experience and project management skills with a natural artistic talent to produce consistently positive results for her clients.
